From Ga. Power: COVID-19 Update: Suspension of Disconnects
Many of our customers and community members have been impacted financially by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are making every effort to notify our customers ahead of any changes that could potentially impact service. Our temporary suspension of customer disconnects has been extended to July 15 as a means of relief for customers amid the pandemic. After July 15, normal business operations will resume, and our disconnection policy will be reinstated.
To help customers avoid disruption of service, we are providing repayment options. To assist customers, please let them know that they may be eligible for an Installment Payment Plan allowing them to pay off their outstanding balance over a 6-month timeframe - October 2020 through March 2021.
