A Message From Tifton City Manager Larry Lawrence

DOT has been working all night clearing the state routes and interstate. They have not yet offered to assist on city streets. The DOT has only 6 snowplows in South Georgia. 

The snow has iced over on almost every street. They are passable in an emergency, but folks just need to stay home.
