Youth Leadership Conference
GAHRA's 2024 Youth Leadership Conference took over the Villas by the Sea Resort and Conference Center on the picturesque Jekyll Island, GA! This conference is all about supercharging the leadership skills and personal growth of public housing youth, helping them on their journey to becoming standout citizens. This year, THA proudly sponsored seven of our brightest young residents, ages 13-17, to attend the event. Our amazing chaperones - Ms. Malissa Burks, Mr. Lee Strozier, Ms. Natasha Powell, and Ms. Kim Barnes - were there every step of the way to guide and support these future leaders.

CEO's Message
I want to take a moment to reflect on the successes of the past few months, including the participation of our youth in the GAHRA Youth Leadership Program. This summer initiative provided our young residents with invaluable leadership skills that will serve them well in the school year ahead. Additionally, our Back to School Drive was a resounding success, ensuring that our students were well-prepared with the supplies they needed to start the year off right. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making these programs impactful.
With the excitement of fall and football season in the air, I encourage everyone to stay engaged with our community activities. Whether it's attending local events, supporting our youth, or connecting with your neighbors, your participation helps to strengthen our community and create a vibrant, welcoming environment for all.
