Resident Service News
THA's resident advisory board gathered to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Board members gifted a previously active member with a gift basket and flowers to wish her well on her journey/fight against breast cancer.

THA welcomed a new Resident Services Advocate, Sasha King, on October 10, 2023. Some of Sasha's duties and responsibilities are coordinating services for residents, recruiting volunteers, conducting outreach to new residents, contacting agencies and organizations to arrange services needed by residents, etc. If you need any services from Sasha, don't hesitate to contact the office. Sasha, THA welcomes you aboard!
Some of our THA youth participated in the annual ghost tours for kids this Halloween. The participants rode through the historic district of Tifton, hunting ghosts.

Senior Bingo
Seniors 60+ are invited to join us for lunch, some fun cards, and a chance to win some awesome prizes! This event is held monthly in our Elderly Village Community.
THA Store
"THA Store" is open to all residents in need of basic household items. "THA Store" is open every 2nd week of the month on Mondays & Tuesdays from 9 am-12 pm at the Elderly Village Community Building.
New residents will be given a voucher at move-in to use in our thrift store. All other residents can contact any member of our Resident Advisory Board or the THA office for assistance.
Maintenance News
- Work orders are handled on a case-by-case basis, with emergencies answered first, then any issues that may cause future problems handled. If you have an emergency after normal business hours, remember to press 5 to be transferred to the maintenance ON-CALL Person. Please leave your name, phone number, and the nature of your call.
- Tenants (Head of Households) are responsible for all property damage to the units and ruts from parking and driving on grass. Violators will be fined for damage.
- No parking on the grass. Violators may be towed at the owner's expense.
- No Parking or blocking the alley. Violators may be towed at the owner's expense.
- Please return all roll-out garbage containers back to your apartments on the day of trash pickup. Violators may be fined by Tifton Housing Authority.

Rent is due on the 1st and late after the 5th for DEAs Homes.There will be rent changes in January due to the new figures for utility allowances and flat rent. Everyone will receive a letter with this information on it. If you have any questions, please contact the office and ask for the housing department.
