Older Americans Month
The 2023 theme is Aging Unbound, which offers an opportunity to explore diverse aging experiences and discuss how communities can combat stereotypes. Join us in promoting flexible thinking about aging - and how we all benefit when older adults remain engaged, independent, and included.
Learning something new is always a great way to stay engaged and mentally sharp. Many community centers and libraries offer classes and workshops on a variety of topics, such as art, cooking, or technology. Consider participating in activities onsite at the Elderly Village Community Building. Seniors can also take classes online or through a local college or university.

Now we're ready for all that summer has in store! Reminder to keep learning even while school is out, to beat the summer slide. Follow our social media pages for tips and tools to keep youth active this summer.
